Landing Gear - Page 2

G-BBDG is now sitting on proper Concorde specification landing gear for the first time since 1990. A unique feature of Concorde was its tail bumper wheel which was necessary to avoid the possibility of tail strikes during take-offs and landings. Brooklands has a tail wheel ready to be fitted to Delta Golf once the tail cone has been attached to the rear fuselage.
