Most of the large number of fuselage panels have now been fitted to Delta Golf. The panels that were missing from the time Delta Golf spent in storage at Filton have since been replaced with panels from the fatigue test airframe that was used at Farnborough. Many other panels have also been found amongst British Airways Concorde spares at Heathrow Airport. Work is presently concentrating on cleaning and sanding the underside of Delta Golf's fuselage - including the panels - ready for repainting. |
