The overall project to bring Concorde G-BBDG to Brooklands Museum and to ensure her long-term future, is a "Million Pound Project" that will eventually see her on display inside a state-of-the-art building, along with other aircraft, such as the VC10, Vanguard and Varsity, that were all designed and built on the Weybridge site.
The BAC factory at Weybridge manufactured all the forward fuselage and tail sections for all 20 Concorde airframes constructed. These major parts were shipped to the final assembly lines at Toulouse and Filton.
Phase one of the "Million Pound Project" will see G-BBDG reassembled and restored to her former glory. This will require a six figure sum to be raised initially.
